Icelandic Waterfalls

Between 2001 and 2008 I spent time exploring Iceland searching for specific locations for commissioned work. Through my travels I began taking photographs of the waterfalls I encountered along the way. Some massive in size and others relatively small. I was really interested in night time on the Island as there seemed to be a complete disconnect from the rest of the world, I imagined it felt similar to what it would be like to be in Space. This collection of work was created at night and captures some of the most peaceful moments I have had in my life as an explorer.
